Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Health Assistant to provide personal care services to individuals in their homes or in a care facility. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine desire to help others.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
  • Assist with ambulation and mobility, including transferring and positioning clients.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of personal care techniques and principles of hygiene.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for ongoing training and development.
