Consultant Gastroenterologist Opportunity at Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust. As a leading healthcare provider in Cornwall, we offer a supportive environment for professional growth and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high clinical standards, developing subspecialty skills, and contributing to the department's overall management. Active participation in continuing medical education, clinical governance, and audit is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality gastroenterology services to patients
  • Develop and maintain subspecialty skills in gastroenterology
  • Contribute to the department's management and governance
  • Participate in continuing medical education and audit

Requirements:

  • GMC Registration with a license to Practice
  • GMC Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining CCT (or equivalent) at time of interview
  • MRCP
  • Teaching experience and gastroenterology practice
  • Clinical Audit and Governance experience
  • Colonoscopy delivery

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Higher Degree MD or PhD
  • Train the Trainers course
  • Management course
