Job Summary

CPC Logistics is seeking a qualified Class A CDL Local Truck Driver to join our Private Fleet Operations group in Waterville, ME. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a tractor-trailer driver and possess a valid CDL A license. The successful candidate will work as a relay driver, making nighttime runs from Waterville, ME to Dayville, CT and back. The schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with early evening start times. The position also involves filling in for peddle drivers 2-4 times a year to cover vacations and sick time.

The selected individual will have the opportunity to work with a reputable company and enjoy a variety of benefits, including medical, dental and $50,000 life insurance benefits starting on day one. The company also offers 8 paid holidays and 1 week of vacation after 6 months, with an additional week after 1 year. A 401(k) plan with a company contribution is also available.

For a limited time, we are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a $5,000 referral bonus for those who refer a friend.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21 years of age, and have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience. A certificate from an accredited CDL school is also acceptable. The ideal candidate will be able to tailgate retail freight using roll-off conveyors, meet all DOT requirements, and push, pull, and carry up to 75 pounds. CDL endorsements for doubles and tank vehicles are also required.
