If you are a driven professional with experience in business tax preparation and possess exceptional communication abilities, we invite you to assist our clients in navigating their tax obligations using Intuit TurboTax Business products.

Key Duties Include:

  • Managing intricate business tax filings for Partnerships and S Corporations.
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of federal and state tax regulations for both business and personal tax submissions.
  • Exhibiting significant experience in preparing and submitting business and personal tax returns.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season, utilizing commercial tax preparation software.
  • At least 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns processed per tax year in a professional setting.
  • Commitment to a minimum schedule of 20 hours per week during the tax season.
  • Preferred experience in bookkeeping related to tax preparation.
  • Experience in preparing business tax returns for clients in the service industry is advantageous.
  • Possession of an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required.

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in computer operations and tax preparation software.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage with clients through video and audio platforms in a professional and approachable manner.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
  • This role is virtual and customer-facing, utilizing advanced video communication tools to assist clients.

Client Interaction: Assist TurboTax Business clients with:

  • Tax advice and guidance
  • Comprehensive business return preparation and submission
  • Product and software inquiries
  • Tax calculations and filing extensions

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality customer interactions that foster trust through empathy and expertise in business tax preparation.
  • Utilize government resources and professional networks to provide accurate answers in accessible language.
  • Apply established practices and company policies to resolve client inquiries and tax preparation challenges.
  • Document all client interactions thoroughly.
  • Continuously strive to meet company performance metrics and objectives.
  • Engage in pilot testing, projects, and validation of experiences as required.
