Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting Diagnostic Tests: Conduct subjective audiological tests to assess hearing impairments in adults and children, including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, hearing aids, implant evaluations, and more.
  • Tympanometry and Reflex Measurements: Perform tympanometry and stapedial reflex measurements to diagnose and monitor ear-related conditions.
  • Objective Evaluations: Conduct objective audiological evaluations in adults, children, and infants, including suprathreshold audiometry such as otoacoustic emissions and brainstem audiometry.
  • Vestibular Disorder Testing: Test for vestibular disorders, including head impulse test, caloric test, and fall risk analysis.
  • Cochlear Implant Measurements: Perform intraoperative measurements of cochlear implants to ensure accurate placement and function.
  • Speech Processor Testing: Test and adjust speech processors for cochlear implants intraoperatively and in follow-up care.
Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
