Professor of Philosophy

We are seeking a distinguished scholar to join our faculty as a Professor of Philosophy and W.K. Kellogg Chair in Ethics. The successful candidate will have a strong research background in agricultural ethics and a proven track record of teaching and mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a campus-wide program in ethics related to agriculture, food systems, sustainability, resilience, and community.
- Supervise Master's and PhD students in the departments where appointed.
- Promote awareness and outreach among undergraduate students and community stakeholders concerning the need to address ethical issues in agriculture, sustainability, and food systems.
- Develop a cohesive research program to advance scholarly understanding in agricultural ethics and contribute to practical application.
- Conduct collaborative, interdisciplinary work with other faculty in related areas of applied and practiced ethics.
- Contribute to the ethics training of students at the undergraduate and graduate level.
