Job Summary

The MRI Technologist is a critical member of our diagnostic imaging team at Prime Healthcare. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Function as the first line interface with customers and successfully accomplish their imaging needs.
  • Participate in PI/QC activities to ensure high-quality imaging services.
  • Assist in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program and oversee radiology area and/or staff in the manager's/director's absence.
  • Maintain department supplies and promote teamwork and good customer service.
  • Process and transmit images to PACS.

Requirements

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • Effective July 1, 2017, appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA).
  • Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  • One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Proficient computer skills.
