Surgical Technician Job Description

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team for a travel assignment in Iowa City, Iowa.

Job Description:

As a Surgical Technician with Supplemental Health Care, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper equipment is sterilized and available, preparing patients for procedures, and providing pre, during, and post-op assistance. This is a great opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare staffing company and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Surgical Tech Contract Details:

- $1,782 - $1,948 per week*
- 13-week contract with possibility to extend
- Most contracts are 40 hours per week
- Duties will include but are not limited to ensuring the proper equipment is sterilized and available, prepare patients for procedures, and pre, during, and post-op assistance.
- *Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Please speak with a recruiter for details.

Requirements:

  • Surgical Tech National Certificate
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 2 years of relevant experience
