Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Health Advocates Network, Inc. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapeutic interventions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and perform therapeutic interventions with clients, assessing their needs and developing plans for therapy that meet identified needs.
  • Safeguard clients' property and provide opportunities for independence and choice consistent with client plan of care.
  • Maintain clients' self-esteem, privacy, and confidentiality of personal information.
  • Document observations and services provided, notifying physicians of changes and processing orders as needed.
  • Train clients, family members, and staff on interventions and equipment, utilizing appropriate bag techniques and standard precautions.
  • Supervise therapy assistants as outlined by Federal and State regulations, documenting appropriately in the clinical record.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited speech/language pathology program preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a rehabilitation/geriatrics setting preferred.
  • Certification for the state of practice.
  • Basic speech/language pathology skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and frequency of travel may vary based on business need.
