Pulakos CPAs is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to provide professional full-charge bookkeeping and accounting services for our clients in New Mexico. The ideal candidate will work with our clients on general ledger and financial statement preparation, payroll and related reporting, and general assistance and consultation with related matters beyond basic bookkeeping. We offer a flexible work arrangement that allows our accountants to work from our office, at the client's office, or remotely as needed.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of work experience in payroll, general ledger accounting, and financial statement preparation is required. Experience working at a CPA or bookkeeping firm is preferred. Formal education in Accounting is a plus, but not required. The candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks and have strong skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
