IET Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable IET Application-Technician to join our team at IET Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cabling and termination of various wiring disciplines, including Cat3, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, CATV, and Fiber Optic Cable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run new cabling in new or existing buildings
• Terminate and test new cabling
• Test and troubleshoot cable issues in ISP and OSP environments
• Set up new telecommunications frames
• Ground telecommunications equipment

Requirements:

• Ability to read construction drawings and line diagrams
• Reliability and willingness to learn all aspects of low voltage
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and good writing skills
• Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook skills are a plus
• Ability to work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment
• Knowledge of various wiring configurations and terminations
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs consistently
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Pass IET in-house training
• Complete at least 3 online training classes related to the communications industry each year
