Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Installation Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our security solutions team, you will be responsible for the installation of complex integrated security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control devices, and alarm systems, to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments to identify and address security vulnerabilities and implement effective security solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including training and support, to ensure customers are fully utilizing their security systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in security technology to continuously improve installation methods and techniques.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical school program preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital and analog camera systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.
  • Strong understanding of security system design and functionality, including IP addressable security devices and TCP/IP networking.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry-recognized certifications, such as MCSE or CCNA, and specialized training in security systems and technologies.
  • Experience with security system software and programming languages, such as C++ or Python.
  • Knowledge of security industry standards and regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA.
