About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Nyack Hospital. As a Surgical Technician in the Labor and Delivery area and the Obstetrical Operating Room, you will play a vital role in the care of patients and the maintenance of sterile and un-sterile supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the care of patients in the Labor and Delivery area and the Obstetrical Operating Room
  • Prepare and maintain sterile and un-sterile supplies and equipment
  • Perform individually assigned patient care activities based on established patient care policies and procedures
  • Assist with routine tasks essential for the upkeep of the obstetrical area
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Graduate of nationally accredited surgical technologist educational program
  • Certified Surgical Technologist credential
  • Annual continuing education requirements
  • One year Patient Care and OB experience preferred
  • BLS Certification required
