Job Summary

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team at Sevita. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives. You will assist with daily living skills, such as cooking meals, administering medication, and housekeeping, and provide support with personal care, such as bathing and dressing.

Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with daily living skills, such as cooking meals, administering medication, and housekeeping
  • Provide support with personal care, such as bathing and dressing
  • Encourage and support individuals in their daily activities and goals
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other team members
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, compassion, and reliability
