Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Volunteers of America Mid-States. As a PRN Clinical Therapist, you will provide assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use disorders to clients. You will also provide clinical services, including individual and group therapy sessions, and maintain accurate records of client interactions.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use disorders to clients.
  2. Provide clinical services, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  3. Maintain accurate records of client interactions.
  4. Work effectively with referral sources and community partners.
  5. Provide crisis counseling and advise other staff on treatment matters.
  6. Communicate client concerns and needs to program personnel.
  7. Maintain a current CPR and First Aid certificate.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in social work or a related field and a clinical license (CSW, LPCA, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LCADC). You will also need at least 3 years' experience in mental health or addictions, with a strong understanding of cognitive behavioral therapies and twelve-step facilitation skills.
