Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Huggins Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for administering Physical Therapy services to inpatients and outpatients, including evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate prescriptions from providers and administer Physical Therapy services according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate patient progress and recommend adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and assistive equipment.
  • Participate in quality and customer service initiatives, including mandatory competencies and chart audits.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, including HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a hospital and outpatient setting, with student rotations considered.
  • CPR certification and licensure in NH by the NH State Board of Allied Health.
Working Conditions

This position requires minimal physical effort with occasional light lifting to a maximum of 50 pounds. The ability to effectively manage considerable mental stress and communicate effectively with co-workers is essential.
