We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Kei-Ai Los Angeles Healthcare Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for evaluating patients' abilities, creating individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapies to help them achieve their goals.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a warm and empathetic demeanor, and a passion for working with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe them performing tasks
  • Develop a comprehensive treatment plan, identifying specific goals and activities to help patients work towards those goals
  • Help patients with various disabilities perform daily tasks
  • Demonstrate exercises to relieve pain in patients with chronic conditions
  • Educate patients' families and employers on how to accommodate and care for patients
  • Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on its use
  • Assess and record patients' progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to physicians and other healthcare providers
Requirements
  • Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) Registration/State Licensure
