Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team at Kelvin Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming customized control systems for industrial and commercial refrigeration systems, as well as developing user interface graphics packages using Wonderware, RS View, and other software.

About the Role:
  • Develop PLC programs for multiple systems
  • Create User Interfaces for multiple systems
  • Provide training to operators, supervisors, and administrative personnel at the customer site
  • Offer onsite and offsite technical support to customers
  • Generate project-specific documentation using standard company formats
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot hardware and software
  • Able to read electrical schematics
  • Able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly
  • Able to troubleshoot and debug PLC programs
  • Able to use existing standards, procedures, and practices
  • Familiarity with Industrial networks and protocols
  • Familiarity with Motor Control and Process Instrumentation
  • Able to Identify and resolve technical risks in assigned work
Requirements:
  • AS or BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science with 2+ years' experience
  • Knowledge of NEC and UL 508A
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
  • Strong understanding of PLC Programming Logic
  • Excellent communication and client follow-through skills
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is around $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
