Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Service: Engage with customers, exceed monthly sales targets, and master our point-of-sale system. Provide exceptional service by greeting guests, assisting with inquiries, and closing sales.
- Merchandise Management: Manage merchandise efficiently and maintain attractive displays. Follow opening and closing procedures, and ensure the store is ready for business.
- Teamwork and Professionalism: Foster teamwork and professionalism. Enjoy a dynamic work environment with countless opportunities.
- Additional Responsibilities: Attend training classes as provided and attend store meetings as scheduled. Follow specified opening and closing procedures in terms of preparing store for the business day.
Requirements:
- Technical Knowledge: Complete an accurate technical knowledge of store point of sale system, cash handling skills, and closing procedures and paperwork.
- Communication Skills: Communicate any status or availability changes or requests off to Management team in a timely manner.
- Teamwork and Professionalism: Create positive teamwork ethics. Always treat all coworkers and guests with respect and professionalism.
Benefits:
- Competitive Pay Rate: The hourly rate for this position is $18.50.
- Benefits Package: We offer a very complete benefit package, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, employee discount, employee assistant program, and food provided.
Work Environment:
Full time, open availability required, including some holidays, nights, and weekends.
