Position Overview

Discovery Ranch is in search of a committed and enthusiastic Guitar Instructor to become a vital part of our educational team.

As a Guitar Instructor at Discovery Ranch, you will operate within a distinctive therapeutic environment, delivering conventional instruction to a varied group of learners.

Alongside teaching, you will collaborate with other departments to provide a well-rounded educational experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate guitar lessons for students of all skill levels.
  • Engage students in music theory and practical applications.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to enhance the educational experience.

Requirements

  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
  • Possession of a current driver's license.
  • 3-5 years of music experience.
  • 1 year of teaching experience in music.
  • Proficiency in playing and teaching guitar across all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in music or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in music instruction.
  • Familiarity with music production software such as Logic Pro or Pro Tools.
  • Basic understanding of various musical instruments.
