C2Earth, Inc. is a leading provider of geologic and geotechnical engineering services. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a staff geologist or staff engineer.
As a representative of our firm, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, working collaboratively with colleagues and clients, and delivering high-quality solutions to complex geologic and geotechnical problems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling fieldwork and obtaining necessary permits
- Performing oversight of drilling and test pit/trench operations
- Creating accurate slope profiles and field maps
- Documenting and recording field data and observations
- Developing thorough knowledge of field subsurface exploration and mapping procedures
- Conducting laboratory testing and preparing accurate illustrations
- Providing assistance with analyzing and interpreting collected data
- Assisting senior staff with preparing technical reports
Requirements:
- B.S. in engineering, geology, or earth science from an accredited University
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Pragmatic and thoughtful
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Self-motivated and able to learn from mistakes
- Proficient with computer applications and graphic illustration programs
