Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist I to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing quality radiographs and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of correct and acceptable radiographic techniques and positioning.
  • Operate all equipment and set up rooms/equipment appropriately for exams ordered.
  • Complete patient screening with attention to pregnancy, contrast, and contraindications.
  • Utilize designated communication devices and respond appropriately.
  • Raise concerns related to patient care, patient safety, or patient satisfaction to supervisor and leadership in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R) certification within 12 months of hire date or eligibility.
  • Radiologic Technologist License (RTL) from the Arkansas Department of Health.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Direct pediatric experience.
