As a Staff Development Instructor - Healthcare, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare by developing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs that meet the needs of our clinical staff, incorporating adult learning principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with instructional design teams to create engaging and effective training materials, including instructor-led, print, and computer-based modalities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide job-specific training to learners, utilizing effective feedback and motivational support techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in nursing education and adult training.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or Florida.
  • 3+ years of experience in managed care and/or disease management.
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting, hospital, or physician office practice.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of managed care, disease management, and complex care case management.
  • Experience within a health plan setting.
  • Experience with an electronic medical record.
  • Previous training experience.

Physical & Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery.
  • Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing.
  • Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving.
