Cable Splicer

Eversource Energy is the largest energy delivery company in New England, serving 4 million gas and electric customers across CT, MA, and NH. We are seeking a skilled Splicer/Cable Splicer to join our team.

The selected candidate will perform various tasks related to the installation, operation, and maintenance of underground and aerial cable systems. This includes working with cable splices, ensuring the reliability of our energy delivery network, and providing superior customer service.

• Install, operate, and maintain underground and aerial cable systems
• Perform cable splicing and other related tasks
• Ensure the reliability of our energy delivery network
• Provide excellent customer service

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Successful completion of a progression program for cable splices
• Fully Qualified Splicer certification
• Valid motor vehicle license and ability to obtain or maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Ability to pass the CAST Test
• Reside within 30 minutes of the reporting location for trouble call assignments
