Nights, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (including weekend rotation)

Unit Overview:
The Surgical Progressive Care Unit at AdventHealth Orlando specializes in providing exceptional surgical care for a diverse range of patients recovering from complex procedures. Our unit is designed to enhance critical thinking skills and prepare nurses for advanced care settings.

Collaborative Environment:
We pride ourselves on teamwork, working closely with a variety of healthcare professionals, including surgeons and nurse practitioners, to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Patient Care Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to specific age groups, utilizing the nursing process to meet departmental goals. You will adhere to compliance plans and maintain respectful relationships with all stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current valid nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- EKG competency

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Professional Certification
