About the Role

Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support activities that promote a positive and supportive environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care: Under the direction of a physical therapist, you will provide patient care that meets the individual needs of each patient, using current treatment knowledge and adhering to established clinical procedures.
  • Document Patient Progress: Accurately and thoroughly document patient progress, including treatment charges and billing data, to ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting requirements.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Actively participate in patient care conferences, collaborate with facility staff, and educate team members on areas of expertise to promote a cohesive and effective team approach.
  • Contribute to Professional Development: Utilize continuing education to achieve targeted quality improvements, interact with peer therapists, and present at weekly rehab team conferences to maintain a current body of knowledge in areas of clinical expertise.
  • Support Facility Reputation: Demonstrate CareRite Center's and facility's core values in interaction with co-workers, patients, and families, and contribute to a positive work team by sharing information and using problem-solving methods.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and experience in geriatric rehabilitation, adult neurological, cardiac, and/or general rehabilitation preferred.
  • Licensure and Certification: Current Physical Therapist Assistant Registration/State Licensure as required and current CPR certification, if required.
