Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Virtua Health, Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Support the healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Perform technical duties as directed by RN/LPN, such as vital signs, point of care testing, and bladder scanning.
- Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN/LPN and respond appropriately.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic patient care skills, procedures, and standards.
- Strong communication skills.
- High School Diploma or Grade Equivalent Diploma (GED) required.
- Must have successfully completed a PCT course, a fundamentals nursing course in an RN program, Certified Nursing Assistant program, or have worked an equivalent of 1 year of direct patient care.
- BLS certification.
