Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments of speech and language to determine students' communication capabilities.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of personalized treatment strategies aimed at achieving specific speech and language objectives.
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to students, both in individual and group formats, under the guidance of a licensed SLP.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to enhance students' speech and language growth.
  • Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Engage in IEP meetings, contributing insights regarding speech and language targets.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and effective practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as recognized by ASHA.
  • Experience with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development and associated disorders.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
