Amentum is seeking a CAD Technician to support the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide services to include programmatic/business management, engineering support, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition/administrative support to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:

  • Drafts designs and converts engineers' and technicians' designs into working computer documents using a CAD system and peripheral equipment.
  • Converses with engineering and design staff to determine design modifications and enters editing information into the computer.
  • Locates files relating to specified design projection database libraries and loads programs into the computer.
  • Enters specified commands into the computer to retrieve design information from files and display designs on CAD equipment display screens.
  • Types commands to enter resizing specifications into the computer.
  • Reviews work orders and procedural manuals to determine critical dimensions of designs.
  • Calculates figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions specified for subsequent production processes.
  • Keys in specified information to produce graphic representations (hard copy) of designs for review and approval by engineering and design staff.
  • Enters specified information into the computer to generate computer files of approved designs.
  • Has experience in the creation of CAD drawings and documents using CAD technology under the guidance of primary authors and senior staff.

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant field.
  • Years of experience.
  • 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.

**Compensation:**

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $50,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data).
