Water Estimator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Water Estimator to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project estimates by interpreting construction drawings and architectural designs.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data.
- Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to obtain Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Defense (DOD) security clearances.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
- Proficient in relevant software including MS Office and Estimating software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
