Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at National Lutheran Communities & Services. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality food service for our residents. This includes prep work, cleaning, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, self, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to high standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the front and back of house teams to ensure seamless service.
• Participate in menu planning and preparation, ensuring dishes meet our high standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need previous line cook experience and food safety knowledge. If you have healthcare dining experience, that's a plus, but we will train you on our processes and culture. What's most important is a team player mentality and excellent customer service spirit.
