We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Family Fare. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
- Count, pour, weigh, package, and label medications
- Maintain accurate patient profiles and insurance claims
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and provide excellent customer service
- Stock and take inventory of medications and supplies
- Notify pharmacy manager of low stock levels and recommend ordering
- Receive and process prescriptions and refills
- Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of customer service-oriented pharmacy experience preferred
- State registration or certification required
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Suggestive selling and knowledge of products
- Detail-oriented and organized
