Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Family Fare. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
  • Count, pour, weigh, package, and label medications
  • Maintain accurate patient profiles and insurance claims
  • Operate cash registers, process transactions, and provide excellent customer service
  • Stock and take inventory of medications and supplies
  • Notify pharmacy manager of low stock levels and recommend ordering
  • Receive and process prescriptions and refills
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of customer service-oriented pharmacy experience preferred
  • State registration or certification required
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
