Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wire Harness Specialist to join our team at SEEK Careers Staffing in Roberts, WI. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity that offers $19.00 per hour and a dynamic work environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses, reading electrical schematics, and inspecting components for quality control. Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  1. Assembly Tasks
  • Measure, cut, strip, and crimp wires to specifications.
  • Install connectors, terminals, and other components onto wires.
  • Route, bundle, and secure wires to create complete wire harness assemblies.
Quality Assurance
  • Inspect components and completed harnesses for compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform continuity tests to ensure electrical connections meet specifications.
  • Identify and report defects, and make necessary corrections or adjustments.
Equipment and Tools
  • Operate tools such as wire cutters, crimping tools, heat guns, and soldering irons.
  • Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment as needed.
Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including production logs and inspection reports.
  • Follow work instructions and update documentation to reflect changes or issues.
Safety and Compliance
  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training preferred).
  • Prior experience in wire harness assembly or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in wire harness assembly.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
