We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at USPRO. As a key member of our Combat Systems business, you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering support in the manufacture of printed circuit board assembly (PCBA)/circuit card assembly (CCA) and the associated system Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) enclosures for one of our combat vehicle systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with electronics suppliers to ensure high-quality production of PCBA/CCA and LRU enclosures
- Investigate and resolve supplier quality and manufacturing process concerns
- Conduct defect investigations, analyze defect trends, and lead continuous improvement projects
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure understanding of requirements and expectations
- Support team-led problem-solving and root-cause analysis activities
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with technical drawings
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-600, IPC J-STD-001, and subordinate IPC standards/guidelines
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- Experience with design of PCBA/CCA for aerospace or defense industries
- Working knowledge of MIL-PRF-31032, MIL-PRF-55110, IPC-A-610, and IPC-A-620
- Fabrication processes, equipment, test, and instrumentation common in the Aerospace and Defense Industries
- Production line validation, test, equipment, instrumentation, and qualification of fabricated products
