Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing initial tasks such as unlocking the facility, preparing overnight emergency patient records, and generating daily appointment schedules.
  • Welcoming patients warmly and ensuring a pleasant experience in our clinic.
  • Accurately updating patient information and demographics.
  • Verifying and updating insurance coverage details.
  • Collecting patient payments and copayments; conducting daily cash box reconciliations.
  • Assisting patients in completing necessary documentation.
  • Facilitating patient check-out and scheduling follow-up appointments as required.
  • Upholding patient confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a medical office environment is advantageous.
  • Customer service experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and Saturdays is required.
  • Willingness to travel to other ORA locations as necessary.
