Key Responsibilities:
- Executing initial tasks such as unlocking the facility, preparing overnight emergency patient records, and generating daily appointment schedules.
- Welcoming patients warmly and ensuring a pleasant experience in our clinic.
- Accurately updating patient information and demographics.
- Verifying and updating insurance coverage details.
- Collecting patient payments and copayments; conducting daily cash box reconciliations.
- Assisting patients in completing necessary documentation.
- Facilitating patient check-out and scheduling follow-up appointments as required.
- Upholding patient confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Prior experience in a medical office environment is advantageous.
- Customer service experience is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and Saturdays is required.
- Willingness to travel to other ORA locations as necessary.
