What are the responsibilities of our Food Safety Compliance Specialists?

Our specialists collaborate with clients in the hospitality, restaurant, and grocery sectors to uphold brand standards, ensure food quality, and deliver exceptional service. Their key tasks include:

  • Conducting evaluations to assess compliance with established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards
  • Monitoring food preparation and cooking practices to guarantee safety, health, and sanitation
  • Working alongside clients to identify root causes of compliance issues and develop effective corrective action plans
  • Educating and mentoring clients on creating a safer and healthier work environment for their staff and customers
  • Traveling up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays, with some evening and weekend commitments

An ideal candidate may have experience as a Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, Kitchen Manager, Training Manager, Corporate Trainer, Bar Manager, Chef, Line Cook, or Quality Assurance Food Auditor, among others.

What qualifications are needed?

  • Ability to obtain certification within one year of employment
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and evenings as required (including two weekend days per month)
  • Willingness to travel by car and/or plane up to 50% of the time
  • Capability to lift 32 lbs to chest height, with skills in stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
  • Ability to influence others with diplomacy and provide constructive feedback positively
  • Comfort in an independent working environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of food safety is preferred
  • ServSafe and/or CP-FS Certification(s) are advantageous
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record review
