Job Summary: Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a skilled Bread Baker to join our team. As a Bread Baker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality artisan breads, pastries, and other baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure that all baked goods meet Kneaders' high standards for quality and presentation.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve baking skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of large-scale baking/pastry experience (preferred, not required).
  • Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handler and sanitation standards.
  • Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and mix for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
