Job Description:

Sharp Corporation is seeking an experienced Automation Packaging Lead to join our team in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for directing the activities of packaging associates within an assigned manufacturing room or area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with supervisors to ensure that all processes utilized and products packaged conform to customer and company standards and specifications.
  • Direct employees’ activities to achieve established production schedules and take complete responsibility for product quality, resource utilization, operational efficiency, and employee safety within the assigned packaging room.
  • Communicate supervisors’ job orders to employees and ensure that all batch record entries, including daily room checks, are performed.
  • Recheck components brought onto the line by material handlers against batch records and assist with lot changes by counting components for accurate accountability.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product, and assist supervision with reporting production performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 4-year BS, BA, or BT degree in a technical discipline or 2-year associates degree with 1-2 years pharmaceutical packaging experience or equivalent training and experience.
  • Experience in inspection of pharmaceutical or related industry, good documentation and communication skills, and good organizational and planning skills.

Language: English.
