About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to post-operative surgical patients and trauma cases in the Med Surg Trauma department at Intermountain Health. This role requires a skilled professional who can assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare team members and ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.

The RN must have strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively with patients and their families. This position also requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure patient care needs are met.

Requirements:
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a critical care setting.
