About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at The Center for Children with Special Needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young adults with Autism and related neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Job Description

This role involves providing specialized pediatric treatment activities, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions. You will work closely with other clinicians, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and behavior analysts, to develop and implement individualized plans of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer standardized tests and assessments to diagnose communication disorders in children and young adults.
  • Provide medical recommendations, referrals, and follow-up care to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement therapy plans of care.
  • Develop individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each child and young adult.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in clinical practice, preferably with pediatric experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) specialization, and experience leading evidence-based social skills groups.
Work Environment

The estimated salary for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
