Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and trauma cases.
- Document patient information and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Illinois RN license.
- BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with agreement for nurses with less than 12 months of experience to enroll in BSN completion program.
- Current AHA CPR certification.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts in order to accommodate staffing needs.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
