Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team in the Inpatient Pharmacy Services department at Henry Ford Health System. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to perform various tasks related to medication management, patient care, and pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with maintaining and monitoring patient profiles, ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing.
  • Perform duties related to medication distribution, including proper documentation and narcotic management.
  • Provide medication information and education to medical staff and patients, promoting safe and effective medication use.
  • Assist with compounding medications and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma equivalency or enrollment in an accredited program specific to the discipline.
  • Registered Pharmacy Intern certification.
