Job Summary

The Physical Therapist is a skilled professional responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients, as prescribed by the attending physician. The primary goal is to rehabilitate and retrain major motor skills, promoting maximum performance and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, tailored to individual needs and goals.
  • Provide physical therapy services, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions, to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient care, adhering to regulatory requirements and ATC policies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current, unrestricted license or registration to practice physical therapy.
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on physical therapy.
  • Current CPR certification and other health and screening tests as required by client facilities and regulatory agencies.
Work Environment
