Job Summary

As a Clinical Pharmacist at Southern Illinois Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. Your expertise will be essential in providing drug information to patients, pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of narcotic usage and monitor medication orders.
  • Prepare IV admixtures and other medications as needed.
  • Educate staff and patients on medication usage and best practices.
  • Oversee technician staff and ensure they are competent in pharmacy procedures.
  • Participate in community health events and maintain competence in pharmacy practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (Registered) or Doctorate of Pharmacy (Clinical).
  • Illinois license of Pharmacy.
