About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Riverside University Health System (RUHS) Community Health Centers (CHCs). As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages, including OB/GYN and Pediatrics.

Responsibilities
  • Take patient health histories and perform physical examinations to assess health status
  • Identify abnormalities and concerns in physical, mental, emotional, developmental, and psychosocial functioning
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic and screening procedures
  • Perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including administering medications and therapeutic devices
  • Provide health counseling and education to patients on specific areas related to their illness or health status
  • Refer patients for further diagnosis and/or treatment when indicated
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a field of specialty by a recognized National Board
  • Board certification is required
  • Minimum of two to three years of primary care experience
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish
What We Offer

As a Nurse Practitioner with RUHS CHCs, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-volume outpatient clinic setting, providing comprehensive, compassionate primary care and specialty services to underserved populations. Our clinics are designated federally qualified health centers, and Nurse Practitioners employed with the CHCs may qualify for various federal, state, and local loan repayment programs.
