Job Overview

First Steps Nursing and Therapy Services PLLC is seeking a skilled Respite Care Provider to join our team. As a Respite Care Provider, you will provide direct patient care in the patient's place of residence, assessing their condition and reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct, hands-on care to assigned clients.
  • Observes and assesses the client's condition and care needs appropriately.
  • Reports changes in condition to the supervisor and/or physician, as appropriate.
  • Monitors medication and ensures timely administration.

Requirements:

  • Current CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of lifting, transfers, kneeling, and standing.
  • Pediatrics experience is recommended but not necessary.
