Position Overview:

Our facility is currently looking for a Quality Auditor to address the quality requirements of the Molding Department. This role involves assessing products and providing constructive feedback and guidance to resolve any quality issues that may occur.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections of products
  • Review and audit inspections performed by operators, providing necessary follow-up
  • Execute process audits as outlined in the performance/quality system schedule
  • Compile a daily list of non-conforming products
  • Maintain precise records in the Quality Control Log, documenting daily activities, issues, and concerns
  • Contribute to the development of new work instructions
  • Assist with manufacturing operations as needed, including press operation and packing
  • Operate a forklift (training provided)
  • Familiarize with documentation under ISO/IATF quality management systems
  • Adhere to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in a technical field or relevant work experience
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to operate a forklift, requiring the use of arms and legs, as well as depth perception for stacking and moving materials
  • Finger dexterity and the ability to see and hear are essential
  • Capability to climb and work from a ladder
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to wear and tolerate all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, ear plugs, and safety glasses
  • Regular attendance and the ability to work scheduled shifts, including mandatory overtime as needed
  • Compliance with ISO-14001 policies, quality standards, and OSHA regulations is required
