**Job Responsibilities**

  • Conduct thorough functional assessments of patients to identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including exercises and therapeutic procedures.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, patients, and families to maximize patients' use of functional abilities.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss patient progress and needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education opportunities to maintain clinical accuracy.

**Requirements**

  • Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy or Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and five years of direct practice experience.
  • Current license/certification in the state of practice.
  • Prefer current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
  • Demonstrated competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in Occupational Therapy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adequate computer skills to complete required job duties and computerized documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs and develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
