Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer - Power Amplifier Control - Principal

MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Principal Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing power amplifier control systems for our RF products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop power amplifier control systems for RF products
  • Develop and implement analog and digital control logic for power amplifiers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power amplifier control systems into our products
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for power amplifier control systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in power amplifier control systems
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in power amplifier design and development
  • Expertise in analog and digital control logic for power amplifiers
  • Experience with microprocessors, single board computers, CPLDs, and FPGAs
  • Strong knowledge of simulation tools such as ADS and Microwave Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with high-reliability and high-power amplifier design
  • Knowledge of ITAR regulations and compliance
