Solar Safety Specialist

At Adam Richmond Safety Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Solar Safety Specialist to join our team for a utility-scale solar project. This critical role ensures a safe work environment and compliance with safety regulations on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on the construction site to identify potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Provide safety training and orientation for new employees and subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and assist in accident investigation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to promote safety awareness and best practices.
  • Maintain safety documentation and records, including incident reports and safety training logs.
  • Respond to safety incidents and emergencies, providing first aid as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of field safety experience in construction.
  • Valid OSHA 30-hour certification.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in solar energy projects is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency with technology and software used for safety management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
